I guess more Warbirds (ex military) aircraft may become available soon with CASA's new regulations which come into effect

 

late June this year, CASA is revoking rego's and were being forced to join AWAL

Those aircraft are the seized ones when Steve Hart went to jail. I note the sea fury and his Cap are still out off limits. I have always liked VH-YAY ever since I saw Cameron Ralph Smith fly it at Caboolture a long time ago. It has the 400hp motor in it. I made an RC Model of it and it flew very well. Like you litespeed, even at bargain basement prices, I still couldn't afford to get one. Also all of those planes have not been touched in a long time, so who knows what lurks beneath.
