red750 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 I am wondering if anyone on this site knows the whereabouts or contact details of well-known member Robbo. He last logged on to the site on 27 December. Robbo and I communicated regularly by PM. I have 8 pages of conversations, 95% of which were with him. He wished me merry Christmas, saying he was going on holidays, and I haven't heard from him since. I'd like to get in touch if anyone has a lead. 1
Guest ausguy Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Hi not sure if we are talking about the same Robbo but if its the Robbo that has a lot of involvement in bizjets and was based in Melbourne he has been battling some health problems over the last 12 months and has been forced to preety much stop all forms of flying. I believe he is still involved in the industry through avionics, ground handling and consultancy but I am not sure how active he is because it was preety bad last year when I was talking to him. I wont say to much nor mention his real name due to some of the work he has been involved in and he is a very private person. If it helps he would be in his late 30's, but thats all I will say because as I said he is a very private person and keeps to himself hence why I wont mention his name or any details about the health issues out of respect to him. He is a true gentleman and has always been there when people needed a chat or advice about the going ons in the industry. He loves aviation and loves to share his passion with the younger generation! Thinking of you mate !
red750 Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 That's the guy. Helped me more than I can say when I was in hospital, going through a few problems. Only ever met him face to face once at Tulla, and I knew he was stepping away for a while. If you happen to get in touch with him, let him know red750 sends him the best, and misses the regular online chats we had. I hope he is on the mend and will be back to his old self again soon. Like you say, thinking of you mate. 5

I will see if I can track down his number or email and send him your regards
red750 Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 Thanks ausguy. Doing it tough at the moment and hearing he's still about is the best news I've had in ages. 2 1
Guest ausguy Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Thanks ausguy. Doing it tough at the moment and hearing he's still about is the best news I've had in ages. I have passed on your message to him by text. He has texted back with "Please pass on my sincere thanks to Peter for his regards, I will try and be in touch with him soon. I have no internet or phone coverage at home but will get in touch soon"
