Hi from Ireland and thanks for having me on the forum! I've been flying microlights for a couple of years. Ikarus C42 and lately a BRM Land Africa.

Hi u2flyboy. Nice to hear from you. I was really taken by a Land Africa video I watched about 7 or 8 years ago. It is the youtube clip where someone lands on an intersection and then manages to turn within the intersection to (the pilot's) right. It is an impressive plane but it looks very similar to an earlier version of the ICP Savannah.

Welcome to the forum!

I found the video:

The bit I was referring to starts around the 1:30 mark on the video clip.

Yes, indeed I think very similar to the ICP Savannah and theres a version BRM Citius Sport which is very similar to the Savannah S both without leading edge slats on the wings. I havent tried to do extreme STOL with it but even flying fairly conventionally it will jump into the air very quickly and landing roll is quite short too. Heres an Irish Land Africa from 2011 flown by Padraic Higgins and he puts a Land Africa through its paces!
