davyhl Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Im from Canterbury NZ. Great Flying Conditions from Flat Plains to towering Mountains 20min away. What a great Web site! so much info.. Learnt on a pterodactyl many years ago and after a 15yr break, I have got the bug again. I currently fly a Pioneer 200, Jabiru J160 (both with Jabiru engines) and occassionly a Rans coyote. Love the 1st two. Cant decide which one more. Also starting on a new Pioneer 300. The 300 is a beautiful plane but need to keep an eye on oil temp as it is inclined to run hot... unlike the earlier ones which run cold. still trying to find out the differences. both are Rotax 912s.
