Happyflyer Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 PILOT UNINJURED AFTER NORTH WEST LIGHT PLANE CRASH - NBN News Looks like a Foxbat to me. Like the bit about it being a crop duster. 1
ClintonB Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 Good outcome to walk away with only a dinged machine. 1
SSCBD Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Crop dusting from a Foxbat, methinks not Why we did it in thruster two seaters!!! Really! using micro spay systems - No Bull 1
SDQDI Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Unfortunately it was one of our local flyers, I haven't spoken to him but have received a text from him and he is going well. No injuries. As a side note I will personally vouch that he does NOT crop dust from his foxbat! 2 3 1
bexrbetter Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Near Tamworth you say? My missus was a cheatin' so I did fly away, Well my plane crashed down when my prop did a stray, Now I'm standing in a paddock in among the rubble, Bet my truck breaks next cause luck comes in double. (sung to generic Country and Western music). 1 3 1

Frankus1aust Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Crop dusting from a Foxbat, methinks not I think there is a new model Foxbat with an optional hopper in the right seat. Limited load but maybe a reason to tax wrightoff an aircraft?

Yes you are correct I saw one at the Avalon air show, can't recall the details of it but there was one there with a hopper fitting for it.
