biggles Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 "At least one person has sustained minor injuries after a light plane crashed into a field of lettuce in southeast Queensland. The pilot made an emergency landing just before 3pm on Saturday, coming down outside of the Lockyer Valley town of Gatton. A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the plane was found upright with one person suffering from minor injuries."
BusaKaine Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Yeah just saw it on 7 news: Light plane crashes into lettuce field

flyerme Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 fokker triplane by the look of it...Thats 2 of TVAS's aircraft in 1 week Nah looks more like the small RAA one i got offered but turned down as the engine was nit performing well after its last huge crash. ( youtube - emu gully plane crash ;).
bexrbetter Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Bet the engine had a ceaser. I imagine the pilot got tossed about, hope they lettuce know more. 2 7
onetrack Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 The owner should leaf it there, it's obvious the little Fokker lost its head when it saw icebergs directly in front. 1 7
bexrbetter Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 The lettuce farm belonged to a major Supermarket chain and they are privately suing. They are taking action under Cole's Law. 1 3
onetrack Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 I find that move absolutely outrageous. Any fool knows that lettuce is not included in Coles Law. This is a case without merit and it needs addressing. This misuse of Coles Law is just the tip of the iceberg. Proper interpretation of the law isn't rocket salad. I'll wager the pilot is tossing up his next move. 3
M61A1 Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 I saw that there had been recent activity on this subject and was hoping for some new information......apparently my expectations are too high.
Chris SS Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 This thread is getting old. It's turning to vinegar. Balsamic Vinegar.
440032 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 All these vegan references are a big missed steak. 1
