Cyclone and Typhoon kit manufacturer in Brisbane?

the Cyclone is a Canadian kit plane, based on the C 185. I have been told there is someone in Brisbane importing or building the kits? I found a reference to a dead website for a Brisbane company that talks about it using a VW TT2200'engine, but the Canadian one uses a Contintental as this is not actually small.

 

Anyone know if there are actually any in Australia and in Brisbane?

I nearly fell over when I looked at the link. I know this guy and have seen all the bits at his workshop...I didnt know what it was. Well I didnt ask Ron any of the specifics of what it was. I will be talking to him probably next week. I am pretty sure it is his design though. He did mention something about that when I first met him

Not the cyclone kit from Canada which is a reversed engineered C185. Nice!
