fly_tornado Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 A RESCUE effort is under way for four people on board a helicopter that crashed near Hayman Island off the north Queensland coast this afternoon. The helicopter landed in water about 30km north of the island sometime before 3.45pm, the RACQ CQ Rescue team said on Twitter. A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were on board a rescue helicopter and volunteer marine rescue boat that was headed towards Barb Reef. No Cookies | Townsville Bulletin
