MartyG Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Well 3 circuits with a Instructor then for the first time since March 4th 1988 sent soaring into the skys around Boonah for 3 circuits all on my lonesome, Maybe not the same nervous excitement as the first solo back in Oct 1985 but it was awesome to be back in total control. Little bit more to do then the GA to Ra-Aus conversion will be complete. Cheers 7
Jerry_Atrick Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 I also had a long hiatus from flying - not quite that long - 15 years (with the odd, sporadic flight in between). Great feeling to get back into the saddle. Well done, ol' chap! 1
alf jessup Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Scuzz Well done old son Just like riding a bike really except much better Good to see you back in the saddle and look forward to seeing you let loose again in the air we all share 1
Nightmare Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 And I think 2 months is a "long hiatus". Bad weather rolled in after my last flight, then the sun came out about 3 weeks ago and I was planning to take to the air on my next day off... then I broke my arm at work! Grounded until further notice

Deskpilot Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 When ever I see your title, Tally Ho, I automatically think of another forum i'm following: Tally Ho – Sampson Boat Co.
spacesailor Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 NightMare Easy fix! Change seat & get a mate in the left seat, then you can do lots of things, not so easily done on your own. spacesailor 1
