SDQDI Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 That was still a fair rotation rate well after the chute went out though! 1
Happyflyer Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 That was still a fair rotation rate well after the chute went out though! Yeah, love to know his rudder input! You can see his right knee at first and it doesn't look like full right rudder but I can't really tell for sure. 1
Birdseye Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Was he trying to stop the spin or continue it? A lot of aileron action.
Jaba-who Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 That was still a fair rotation rate well after the chute went out though! Yep. It makes me think it's sped up replay rate. It seems to be rotating at a really fast rate and still descending really rapidly but when it hits the ground there's barely any inertial movement of the pilot or gear in the cockpit etc. 1

It was only a few seconds between pulling chute and hitting the ground.
