Marty_d Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Old enough to fly, too young to drive "Life Matters" RN segment on a 15 year old just about to solo. If my kids turn out as enthusiastic and mature as this guy I'll be a happy father. 1
bexrbetter Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Was a similar story for George Seppelt, known to a few of us in the know you know, you know. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007585247520
skippydiesel Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 I used the reward/inducement of monthly flying lessons to get my straying 14 year old son back "on track" and staying there. He had his PPL at 16 and went on to get his CPL . He didn't continue with a flying career but he made decent grades at school and now, at 30, he manages a team of electrical maintainers in a steel mill. The discipline and goal setting/milestone experience he went through to get his pilot's license will stand by him for the rest of his life. I am very proud of him. 4 1
