facthunter Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 He was scrubbed as a pilot before. The plughole was the only opening he could find .. Nev.... That's terrible... 2
440032 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 He could rob that convenience store and make a clean getaway. 2
Happyflyer Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 CASA would certainly pull the plug on that here! 2 1 1
SDQDI Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Might be the solution for tubby pilots like myself! 1
onetrack Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 That thing's got the aerodynamics of a ....... of a .......... bathtub!! Lends a whole new world of meaning, to "clean configuration"!
rgmwa Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 CASA would pull the plug on that tub and probably scrub the pilot's licence at the same time. 2
old man emu Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I love the way you blokes pun, but do you realy have to faucet? 2 1
440032 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 CASA is aware these things will be appearing sooner or later. Theoretically eligible for an Experimental certificate, but license to fly? None exists, would have to be done individually by exemptions. You have to get the bathtub maintenance manual from Reece Plumbing. 1
facthunter Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 If I flew one of those I would want an exemption from the Laws of Gravity.. Nev
GraemeK Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I argued my case before CASA, but they said it wouldn't hold water .... 1
Mewp Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 what next, replace this forum with a flying soapbox 1
Oscar Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Interesting, that the 'Flying Bathtub' has been developed so much later than the 'Flying Bedstead' ( The 'Flying Bedstead') But apart from the philosophical conundrum, the important question remains: 'Water'll she do, Mister??".
onetrack Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Leading on from his very successful foray into highly-sought-after plumbing supplies, that literally fly out the window - Fred is now looking to expand his range into showers that wash themselves, and toilet cisterns that crap themselves, without human input. 1
Yenn Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I can remember seeing a video of a bathtub, with a door attached as a wing, flying. It was made by the bloke who built the Lightning’s, I forget his name. He was showing that with enough power you can make anything fly. 2
kaz3g Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 I suppose I should have told you a little more about the pilot/builder's capabilities...hes certainly no drip and didn't come down in the last shower. Kaz 2 1
pylon500 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 That's it, I wash my hands of you guys... 2 1
Pilot Pete Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 That would have been a draining experience. 2
