Guest Guest Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Check out Jet World Masters 2017 on YT, top shelf stuff!
BirdDog Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 For those interested there is a big event coming up at Wangarratta AD next month. Will be epic!!
Kyle Communications Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 The Jet World Masters is just over the top excellence. I was in the Australian team in 2003 I think ....it was it was held just outside Pattaya in Thailand. Just incredible skills with the pilots and models. Back in the days I used to be 150kg :)...I wonder if you can pick who that is It was the first year Australia competed..we came 11th in the team..there was another 2 models but one crashed. For our first attempt to basically learn how it was all done we did a great job
Andy Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Fantastic. Anyone know how much one of these jets would cost complete?

Kyle Communications Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 Back then a spend to get a jet in the air was about 10K and was nothing special. My mate has a A10 twin turbine 1/5 scale it was 35K. Recently I went to Goondiwindi for a jet meet to catch up with some of the boys and the average large jet....which most are now days was 24k..they are packed with all sorts of electronics and gyros and vectored thrust and smoke tanks and pumps. Entry level now you can but a ARF (almost ready to fly) jet with a small turbine. Just add you receiver and go basically for 3K. A couple of the jets at Goondiwindi late last year
Bennyboy320 Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Wow, I’m impressed, the models were so life like & the video quality as good as a multimillion dollar Hollywood movie.
