I have a glass inline fuel filter which I bought from aircraftspruce and think by memory it was a Tempo brand. I need to change the filter and the rubbers seals rather than buy a new unit, anyone know where I can get these parts from, cheers

It would be probably be just as easy getting a filter assembly for a twostroke outboard engine from a marine shop. Made specifically to handle twostroke premix and relatively cheap

Or you could use these little beauties:

Hengst H 102 WK (for those who might want an inbuilt elbow, try H 103 WK)

Readily available, reputable manufacturer, gauze filter, lightweight, no leaks, cheap, proven, visual inspection, can be cleaned (but why would you), used by my aircraft manufacturer & Mercedesies diesel cars/light commercials.

Whitworths Marine & Leisure (www.whitworths.com.au) sell both the in-line filters (brand??) and 'pack-of-three' replacement filters. Go to their on-line catalogue to ensure that what they have is what you want.

Who sells them?

Just Google Hengst Australia for distributors, if that doesn't get you what you want, I can help you out from my personal supply.

For filter specifications, Google Hengst, when in Hengst web site, search using part number

Hi only one thing to add to this thread and that is DONT use paper element filters make sure the element is nylon mesh if not you run a very high risk of blockage due to water which will trap on the oiled paper filter Dont ask how I know!!!

Regards..

John.
