rgmwa Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Anybody know where to get torque seal for a reasonable price?
Kyle Communications Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Rocket Rod at Skyshop here in Brisbane has it...you can order online
rgmwa Posted April 23, 2018 Author Posted April 23, 2018 Skyshop want $15 a tube and a minimum $20 order. Last time I bought some on-line (can't recall where from now) it was about $15 for 4 tubes. And no, it wasn't last century. I know $15 is small change in aircraft dollars, but it's just the principle of the thing.
Kyle Communications Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 I didnt know how much he sold it for...have you tried someone like BSC..motion control...the old bearing service company..or the engineering mob in pritchard rd at virginia?..
KRviator Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Knock off a jar of your wife's nail lacquer. That'll work just about as well.
skippydiesel Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 I find liquid paper, either applied by brush or pen, to be very effective and cheap - obtainable at any store selling office supplies (including WW, BW, Coles, etc etc). So far have only found it in white but that okay if your on a tight budget.
