How do you find info on RAA aircraft rego

Where do you look to find out info on current registered Australian "19" aircraft ?

 

Looked on RAA and CASA website's and could only find VH registrations,

RAA info is private and not published you have to rely on forums etc to try and track down owners

looking at a 19 reg aircraft for sale and wanted to check rego matched the owners name.

Is RAA the only governing body/jurisdiction in the world where this information is kept secret? Looking through a database of RAA type aircraft around the world, then checking the country's registry, all list similar details to CASA, including owner name and address.

I did an inspection of Raa register list, 

 

My 10- aircraft WAS on, and later removed like all the HummelBird regoes.

If you're genuinely interested in purchasing it, the registration certificate should be easily available, but RAAus themselves caution that this does not prove ownership.

The plastic rego card has the "Registrant" number which is the owners RAA membership number.....
