phantomphixer Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Do Camit engines have the same valves and guides as the Jabiru 2200 and 3300 engines?
scsirob Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 To the best of my knowledge, Jabiru and CAMit use the same guides. Jabiru opted to go with a Chinese valve vendor some years ago CAMit appear to have used valves from the UK vendor that Jabiru started out with. Either valve can be used, as long as you have matching collets.
jetjr Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 I think some others were tried but Ian reverted back to original valves are as said the original English produced version Jabiru claim they had more failures with them than the chinese version......... some doubts on that Id think. not sure they are able to be exchanged, I think CAE valves can go into Jab but not the other way. Likely to be fixed by new seats.
