This seminar will discuss how knowledge of human factors in three essential pilot skills will enhance aviation safety. Communication Situational awareness Threat and error management. Using practical examples, the seminar will look at enhancing the skills involved with radio communications around aerodromes and maintaining situational awareness in a dynamic and changing environment. The seminar will also introduce the role of threat and error management and we’ll also discuss techniques to complement the technical aspects of flying an aircraft. The seminars are an ideal opportunity for you to interact with your aviation safety advisor (ASA), to discuss local issues and ask questions of the regulator. Register now via Eventbrite. Yenn Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 It would help safety if they mde a decision about radio frequency to us at at non charted airstrips. I recently told some gyro pilots that area frequency was correct, not 126.7 as they were using. Didn't make any difference. While transmitting on area while I was coming in to the circuit, Brisbane said I was transmitting on area frequency. My reply was that CASA required me to do that, so they wished me a good day. 1
