Any one going to the Snowtown SAFlyin scheduled for the 12-13 Aug?

tried several times to email you via the 'Forum' Members list...without luck.

Snowtown Airfield: Fly-in weekend.

 

Accommodation is available next door at Hummocks Station B&B (Owned by Roger and Merry Duance) or camp at airfield, or in the hangar.

 

Saturday night dinner at the Snowtown Hotel , Bacon & egg breakfast Sunday morning and BBQ lunch.

 

Elevation 350' Co-ords. 33 48.752 - 138 12.071. Strips 08/26 700m or 01/19 400m. 2NM SE of Snowtown

It is 68 Nm from Truro and another 41Nm from Murray Bridge...sounds good.

Anybody going next weekend?

 

I will try and make it if the weather is good....If its too strong for my Minimax, I will go in a CT-4 airtrainer .

22 aircraft Saturday (maybe one or two more? )...a great time had by all who attended..........Unfortunately I couldnt stay for Saturday night..... the campfire and beers.

 

Stewart and Family did a great job on hosting a memorable flying. I'm sure it will not be the last....!

 

I saw some new aircraft and had a great lunch. Regards Arthur
