I did. As I said in reply to Nev's post, I agree that it seems too fast. I was reporting what was said by the wife of the previous owner. If anyone who was at Naromine can correct me, I'll be happy to withdraw.

See my last line on # 21. . It's not your fault. At the speeds suggested the loss of pilots would have been ridiculous. Another post addresses this aspect. That planes service ceiling and top speed is quite "ordinary".. Wing loadings give a good indication if all other aspects are comparable. Most of these planes are about 12 knots above a Bonanza which has a minimum safe deadstick speed of about 85 knots flapped if I recall correctly. . Of course it varies with weight. as all planes do.
