Hi Drifter lovers.... and others,

A couple of years ago, this story appeared in the RA-Aus mag, and made very entertaining and helpful reading for those contemplating a flying trip a little out of their comfort zone.

Surprisingly, or perhaps not, the story has re-appeared on a site in the US.

It still makes nice reading......enjoy and be inspired.

Not sure whether to be pleased or offended by the "AERONAUTICAL STONEHENGE - YARRAM, VIC" caption.

Never the less it is still a good read.

What a brilliant story. Inspires me to leave work and go flying...

Hi again Drifter lovers,

Exploring a little further on Michael's home page shows more Drifter flying including a beach flying video, and other interesting aspects of what was apparently a delightful lifestyle in Byron Bay.

Way to go.

Cheers again

I have bought ics second drifter "wind walker".
