Fire resistant firewall??

I am currently debating to get myself a wearable parachute, along the lines of what I used when I started glider training.

A quick release door setup to bail out in a hurry. I am fearful of fire as 50 years ago I was involved in a car fire as a driver and had to crash into the side of a bridge and jump out. I tried to get across the bridge when I realised I had a major engine fire and the electric pump sprayed fuel everywhere........erupted in a pile of flames in seconds......

Since I will only ever fly as a lone PIC, I only need to consider myself, and those on the ground.
