Building A Simulated Airpark....??

I would like to know how I can build or have built a simulated Airpark.

 

Airstrip, a few roads and houses / buildings etc. Nothing too elaborate.

 

Or

 

An overhead image of one.

I have not done it but I assume that you need to own or have access to a block of land. Get it approved by the local council for the use. That will involve providing plans and probably an environmental impact statement, getting the change of use advertised and objections heard. Then when all that is done you have to build the airpark and arrange for any subdivision.

 

With luck 6 months and a bucket of money.

G'day Bendorn, why not use your own posting of Vendee Air Park in France as a model? As to how you actually do it, I guess you'll have to find a modeling program and follow the instructions.

I figured I'd need some sort of program, I'm hoping someone out there will know of a good shareware program that I can download or point me in the right direction.
