Admin Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 here are some images that Bruce Stark was kind enough to send me of Tecnam's answer to the Cessna Skycatcher - this is a very nice looking aircraft:
matto Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 that is a nice looking plane, does anyone have some specs?
Bruce Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 USA site http://www.tecnamaircraft.com/P92_Eaglet.htm
johnm Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 ? Looks like a Tecnam Bravo - P2004 - with remodelled windows and a main wing strut I guess the smaller Cessnas have wing struts so Tecnam might as well have 'em too I wonder what the diffrences and design philosphy are between the Bravo and this new model ?
johnm Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Cost ? Guessing ........................ 1.3 Sportastars 2.2 Jabirus 3.7 new Commodores 16.5 x 2001 Ford AU's ............... Plus wing struts
Guest brentc Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I'd say AUD$130k + Delivery from OS + extras.
Guest bateo Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I would even say a bit more than that... but what a beautiful aeroplane. Can't wait to see it in Aus. Bruce tells me he gets to get his hands on one soon!
Paul Willett Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Phew! Thank heavens I went with the 2002 AUIII Falcon! (And am still driving it!) I think Bruce has one of these aircraft ready to put together at Redcliffe - will be nice to see it when it is in flying condition soon.
Guest pelorus32 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Dare I say it - I think this is a "mid-life update" like the car manufacturers do. I'm a big fan of the Tecnams and I suspect that this is really taking what they already have and offering it as a marketing gambit to front up to the Skycatcher. Still what they already have flies well enough and has nice characteristics. Regards Mike
