Murgatroyd off to jail

I can’t se how to copy a link to this story. Google pilot Murgatroyd. He has been found guilty in the UK of several charges, for overloading his Piper PA140 which crashed. He was a private pilot but being paid to take passengers.

You have to feel for commercial operators in general aviation when these "accidents" happen. Pilots like Mr murgatroyed and this guy,

Sounds like a regular dickhead to me. Acting the big hero & then making an excuse he forgot to include his own weight  when he did the W&B. He probably didn't do a W&B at all & was more motivated by making a thousand quid.

He was 181kg overweight. ........ must have thought he was a pretty "big" man.

He was charged with, "endangering the safety of an aircraft, endangering the safety of a person, flying without an air operator certificate, acting as pilot without holding an appropriate licence, flying an aircraft otherwise than in accordance with the limitations in the flight manual, operating an aircraft without insurance, and flying without the aircraft flight manual."

 

And this bloke has the temerity to state he's a hero for saving all his pax??

 

He's the biggest donkey to ever sit at the controls of an aircraft - and I trust the authorities also revoke his pilots licence, seeing as he can't even follow the very basics of piloting an aircraft.
