PA28. Looked pretty flat but some large trees around. Maybe he stalled a bit too high.

Engine Failure straight after T/O, pilot did a good job to get it down. Apparently he was an RPL student doing solo circuits

In that case,. . Well Done that man. . . I gathered that it was a PA28 from the tail bit on the pic. . . 

 

Since he walked away from it, I can say Thanks that he didn't damage any Vines. . .( Must preserve Aussie Wines )

As a foreigner, can someone tell me what is the aircraft MAUW maximum for RPC certificates ? . . .is there one ? ( in the UK it's 450 Kgs MAUW, shortly to become 600 Kgs. )

I suspect that the crash was caused by the pilot being distracted by the reporter's enormous yellow jacket. (Turbo will tell me to remove this post if the matter is going to court at the moment.)

Just for the information of the two of you; I couldn’t care less if you get yourselves dragged into Court.i’m Not a lawyer; Kaz is, and as she has warned repeatedly, it’s IAN,s house that is put at risk when you do it.
