Guest Guest Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Take care everyone. This happened when a 582 Ultralight was started at full throttle some 20 metres plus from the Archer. The owner had been working on the aircraft under the dash and the throttle had been pushed in to get it out of the way. One would assume it would be common sense to have a hand on the throttle during a start, however this guy didn't. A nice $20k repair bill for the Archer owner and no RA-Aus insurance as the rego expired 2 days before!
