facthunter
Most people book their flights based on the cheapest price they can find. They appear otherwise intelligent. I always research the safety records and use personal knowledge to choose those I know have a good standard. It's a race to the bottom to save money. Choose wisely. Your life depends on it. Nev I think you are right on the money there Nev. I learned that lesson many years ago after a bad experience, and have never forgotten it. It's sad that sometimes people learn the hard way and never get another chance. Kind Regards Planey
Ultralights
looks like we are going full circle, early days, jet airliners crashed due to design flaws, then weather and bad navigation, now those two problems have been reduced, it seams almost all airliner crashes are now caused by bad crew training..... cost saving i guess, everyone wants to fly for $10... Guest Andys@coffs
Yeah, is it any wonder that companies get pinged by a real regulator when they sell a seat for travel SYD-MEL for 1/2 the price of the taxi fair at either end...And most of the time the Taxi IMHO is likely not roadworthy and the driver is optional as to whether they speak English or not at that double the cost and Maquarie bank isn't to my knowledge involved in the taxi industry but bend over bob they sure are involved in the airport industry! fly_tornado
If I have the choice of travelling from SA to Libya, I'll still fly as its the safest and quickest way around Africa.
