Trial Introductory Flight

Had our open day today and had 13 people do a TIF in the club's Jabiru including yours truly. :)

 

I found it relatively easy to fly and I did about 90% of the flying including take off and landing. The only thing I really had trouble working out was the attitude of the nose on take off and climb. It just seemed to be at a high pitch. I was doing a few turns and I found it easy to maintain level flight after a short time.

 

Taxiing was easier than in the 172 which I had a short go at last week (was only to the hangar)

 

Landing could of been better. I kind of left the flare go a bit late and the result was a hard landing. Instructor commented that I did very well and must of done this before. I guess it was thanks to flight sim. :)

 

Now I just need a few extra dollars to continue. :?

Done it now, it's a long slippery slope with aviation poverty at the other end. :shock: The only way to go :D
