Now that is a stylish colour scheme - far better than the Queensland paint job that Virgin unveiled the other day.

 

Did anything ever come of the offer by Travolta to fly the Socceroos into Germany from their pre World Cup European Training Base? - Possibly too early to have been finalised yet.

I hope they're NOT flying on that! I flew in a -Zxx series ex-BA 767 and it rattled like crazy! Also had flap problems in flight.

Interesting why Qantas have painted a domestic 767 over and international?

I guess the World Cup will be HUGE and Qantas as a sponsor of the Socceroos want to be seen to be doing their best to get behind the team.

 

Doubtful Qantas will be flying the team from Oz to Germany in anything as most players are already in Europe but it would be terrific if Travolta flew them to Germany from their camp in Holland in his 707. If not then Qantas could use one of their 747s which are parked at Heathrow for about 8 hrs from memory before the return flight to Oz every day.
