Guest David747 Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Hi all. When I come to think about, 3 rather significant flights occured on Aussie shores today. They are as follows... 1) Qantas 737 800 VH-VXB "Yananyi Dreaming" operated a special charter flight to Cairns with some volunteer tradesmen who are to help fix up the wreckage and Innisvale due to Cyclone Larry. 2) Jetstar operated their inaugral Adelaide Maroochydore service. The first airline to travel between the 2 cities. Unsure of rego because I was at TAFE. 3) British Airways operated their last ever LHR-SIN-MEL-SIN-LHR service. Now BA only operate to SYD twice daily. AKL, gone, ADL, gone, PER, gone, BNE, gone, MEL gone, SYD is the sole survivor. What a day of aviation!? David...
