Guest Glenn Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 15th April 2006. Cowra to Narromine Aircraft - Cessna 210 VH-RAT Departed Cowra at 8:01am Arrived Narromine at 8:46am Departed Narromine at 1:25pm Arrived Cowra at 2:05pm On the way to Narromine we were at around 5000ft. We were above a layer of cloud until we got to Parkes and then had to decend through a hole in the cloud and went the rest of the way at 2000-2500ft. Some cloud pics below - http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/5705/cloud18wb.jpg http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/5323/cloud33yz.jpg I was amazed at the variety of light aircraft on display. TAA Student Pilot Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 You forgot to mention the "RAT' was parked with ELK (a Pacer) on one side and HOG (a Maule) on the other. I tried to download a photo onto the album but nogo. Was a good day, too much dust, wind and rooly cold, but lots of Aircraft to oogle at. :D
Guest Glenn Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Hey SP when we arrived we parked next to a Cessna on our right. When were going I didn't see ELK so maybe you left early? Did you try shrinking your image slightly?
TAA Student Pilot Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Yep, I shrunk them right down but no luck. We only went down there for the day, left around 2.
Guest Glenn Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Ok what about file size? Keep under 1mb if you can. Sometimes it plays up but if you shave just a little bit off the size it sometimes works. We left at 1:25 but buggered if I saw ELK. But then again I spent the day looking at aircraft and I guess I just missed it. Are you taking ELK to Narrandera for the AAAA Fly In?
TAA Student Pilot Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Maybe we left at 1? prolly won't be going to Narranadera, have pretty heavy work commitments at the moment.
Guest colt_pa22 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 RAT' was parked with ELK (a Pacer) on one side and HOG (a Maule) on the other What's with ELK and HOG, friend of yours? You were parked next to HOG at Temora last August? colt
Guest Glenn Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 There seems to be a pattern. ELK and HOG are animals. How appropriate is it that RAT was nearby as well? Freaky 8)
Guest colt_pa22 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Well picked up on Glenn. All three can be killed with a Tomahawk. colt
Guest Glenn Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 All three can be killed with a Tomahawk. LOL good one. Now what is a FUO? :?
Guest colt_pa22 Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Not any animal, although, it handles like a dog in hot weather. Someone on this site thinks it stands for f'ing ugly object. :o http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1034130/L/ colt
