An aeroplane many mightn't know flew in Oz.

This is a Bf ME-108 Taifun.

 

The photo is in Darwin in 1937.

 

It was put on the Aussie Register as VH-UZI and was used by Guinea Airways as a charter plane for over a year.

The is a ME in a hanger at Bankstown (or there was), I wasnt a fighter like a 109 or a 110, maybe it could have been one of these 108's. Do you know where this one is now?

The register says its actually a 109 (not true, cause I know what a 109 looks like), and its registered in Sydney as of Feb 2006. First registered in Aust 2002.

 

This could be the same one at a guess.
