Todd M Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Today us Canberran's and surrounding region's were lucky enough to be able to attend an open day held at Canberra International Airport to celebrate the completion of the new 600m extension of our main 17/35 runway. Was abit wet, but this did not turn the crowd away from attending the walk/run/skip/ride/blade/skate along the taxiway and runway. There were two Metros, one each from Corporate Air and Brindabella airlines, A BD-5j microjet, a Robinson R44 helicopter, a Brindabella Airlines Cessna, and a Corporate Air Cessna 441 Conquest.
