Rex retires one of their metro's

According to the local news tonight, REX has retired one of their Metro's. They referred to it as a Metro 23. They showed it taxiing with a fire engine on either side of the taxi way spraying a symbolic salute. Couldn't catch the rego.

Great. What is to happen to the Aircraft now? Will it be put on show or will it go to another Airline?

 

I can remember my 1st flight on REX was on a Metro 23 and it was a nice smooth ride. 1 I took 3 other times after that.
