Guest Steve R Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 There are plenty of 'ifs' 'buts' and 'maybe's' before it'll happen but could she fly again? http://tinyurl.com/yxy5be
Guest VH-TJT Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I hope so, did you note the Qantas model in the interview? TJT
Guest Glenn Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Yep, saw the model. I hope a Concorde does get off the ground. It would be great to see, but as they said no one has come forward with the millions of dollars needed to get it airborne.
Uncle Chop Chop Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Interesting. If they have kept this in operational order why do they have to spend Millions to get it running again? I did notice the Qantas model. I would love to see it fly again and I would love to see it fly to Australia.
Guest Glenn Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 They said it's in operational order but not flying order.
Uncle Chop Chop Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 They said it's in operational order but not flying order. Oh ok. Fair Enough. I hopw to see it flying again.
Guest VH-TJT Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Interesting. If they have kept this in operational order why do they have to spend Millions to get it running again? Operational does not imply airworthiness. The French beating the British, they mustn?t like that. TJT
