Guest Chainsaw Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 ZHUHAI, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Airshow China 2006 got off to a flying start on Monday afternoon in Zhuhai, a coastal city in south China's Guangdong Province.Chinese Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan announced the opening of the five-day event, which has attracted aircraft giants Airbus and Boeing as well as other major aviation companies. During the airshow, China will display its L-15 trainer, FTC-2000 trainer, as well as the Eagle-500 aircraft, China's first small private aircraft. The spacecraft of Shenzhou-6 and the model of Xinnuo-2 satellite will also be exhibited. "Russian Knights" and British "Golden Dream" will perform aerobatics during the airshow.
