Guest Chainsaw
16th December Todd and Chainy represented TAA at Sydney Airport for the home coming of VH-EBA B707 (XBA). There was a large number of hardcore spotters gathered underneath the Control Tower (Shep's Mound). As she was on finals, you could see the smoke from her old engines laying a trail that was easy to see. All her landing lights were on as well, making it a spectacular arrival. She slowed and turned right in front of us which was great for picture taking. It is believed she will rest at the Jet Base for a couple of weeks before her trip to Longreach. Chainy :ch:

Todd M
Ok, here are some photos from my very brief journey to Sydney to catch this beauty. I was glad I got up at 4 am just to make the 3 hour journey from Canberra to see it on its arrival back home, has made my year. http://members.optusnet.com.au/~stumpytex/mypic322.jpg http://members.optusnet.com.au/~stumpytex/mypic326.jpg
