Guest Chainsaw Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 The Pentagon issued a notice Feb. 6 of a possible sale to Australia of 24 F/A-18E/F fighter aircraft in a deal that could be worth $3.1 billion.The Australian request includes installed engines, spares, radar systems, computer networks, guided missile launchers, night vision goggles and electronic warfare counter-measure systems, a Pentagon agency said. â€The total value, if all options are exercised, could be has high as $3.1 dollars,†the Defense Security and Cooperation Agency said.
