Richmond RAAF is getting regular flights in and out of the base from a brightly coloured DHL dc-8 (or at least i think it is).

 

Would anyone know the purpous of these flights at all?

The DHL plane would be a 727. I can help you with that but not what its doing there.

It definately isn't a 727, it looks like a skinny 707, but longer.

 

Got 4 engines.

It would be Strategic Aviations DC-8. They do contract transport work for the ADF.

Its definately a dc-8 but it wears the DHL colours. Would strategic aviation contract work out to DHL?
