Bringing in a completed RV-7 from South Africa

Hi Everyone,

 

Just joined. I am currently living in Durban (Seth Efrica) but looking at moving to Brisbane some time in the next few years. I should have a Van's RV-7 finished by the end of this year and I am looking for some pointers about the practicalities and legalities of bringing it with me.

 

Can anyone help?

I suspect the best people to ask are the Sports Aircraft Association (a bit like the Eaa in the USA)

 

Their association is of people building their own aircraft, from kits or plans.

 

quite a few of their members have built RV's
