Guest Glenn Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Spotted whilst out putting the sprinkler on, after 5pm. Wasn't showing on Planeplotter though.
Guest OzChris Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Wow - Awesome Glenn! Looks like you had a nice clear day out there today...
Guest Glenn Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Been mostly clear here all day with a few clouds. Was at my cousins this morning and I noticed a Qantas 737 and then not long after there was a Virgin 737 on the same track. Camera was at home though :(
Guest OzChris Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Camera was at home though :( Bummer!! Nice shots of the 747 though - gotta be happy with that. =D>
Guest remiferna Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 woh! awesome shot, it reminds me of school when my friends and I are sitting on the oval and I look up and say "Look it's a ........!!!!" what type of camera did you use?
Guest Glenn Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Canon 400d with 300mm kit lens and different camera settings. These are also the first shots of contrails shot in RAW
Guest Darren Masters Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Nice shots Glenn. Not much different from my 'fish eye' shots  It was Malaysian 122. Still trying to get rego for you.
Guest Glenn Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 It's a lot different to your fisheye, you can see the plane  :P I thought it was odd that it wasn't showing up on planeplotter
Guest Darren Masters Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Yes, and it has not showed up on other ACARS sources of Mode S which most aircraft do. Bugger!
Guest David C Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 9M-MPS overflew Cowra enroute KUL-SYD at about 5pm on the cargo flight c/s MH6205 . Could this be the one , or was it Westbound at the time ?? Dave C
Guest Darren Masters Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Then it is probably the one Dave is talking about.
