PPL

Hi!

 

I am interested in pursuing a PPL and was wondering if anyone can recommend any flight schools around Newcastle? I am aware of a few (Avondale, Royal Newcastle Aeroclub, Hunter Valley Aviation), but don't know which one to go with! I have read that it's a good idea to go around to the schools, talk to them, and see first hand what they're like, but I'd like to get some other people's opinions as well.

 

Does anyone have any experience with flight training in the Hunter region? Anyone have any recommendations?

 

I am just interested in PPL at this stage, with the possibility of pursuing CPL at the end of it.

Hey mate i live in newcastle and i fly out at the RAAF base. Its a little hard to get in but if you do its great and cheap. The people are a bit grumpy but you can handle it. or i would suggest the one out at Maitland or Cessnock flighting school they are both about the same price but i would be leaning towards maitland because its not as far.
