Robbo
Hello..... Just wondering on peoples thoughts about operating systems? I was forced to go to vista when upgrading my laptop but I have found all the drivers and now I am considering going back to xp. Just wondering on everyone's thoughts? I am still thinking about even moving away from Microsoft and going to mac.
Guest g_i_jack029
I like linux ALOT, you can create your own operating system, structure it how YOU want. Best of all ITS FREE, TONS of drivers for many different things out there! Create your own file tree system, make your own Kernal, Just a bunch a really cool stuff!!!!! My second Favorite would have to be MAC!!!!!!
Guest PaulR
I am like Jack. I use Ubuntu Hardy Heron. I got tired of MS telling me that applications I wanted to use weren't doing it the "windows" way and shut them down continuously. So I switched and haven't looked back. I had A LOT of questions when I did the switch, but there is a large community network for Ubuntu to help with any questions. Google is your friend. :D However, if you still want to choose between XP and Vista I would stick with XP. It is no longer supported (officially) by Microsoft, but I believe that it is the better of the two MS operating systems. I have never used Mac for an extended period of time, so even I would be interested to hear from Mac users.
Guest Darren Masters
I say definitely XP. Vista is just way too hard to navigate!
