Guest Capt Rex Kramer Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Is there an aussie aviator deep throat out there who can confirm this?. We now know they have been deployed at Guam and japan on a three month deployment, so its not unreasonable to expect a visit from the F22,like the B52's in previous shows. A visit by this jet would also serve as a warning to Indonesia to pull its head in, a country that we have givin millions to in aid only to have them treat us back with contempt
Guest Steve R Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 If they were able to announce it I'm sure they would do - I'll be there anyway but announcing an F22 appearance would add another 10,000 to the gate.
Guest g_i_jack029 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 hopefully a late announcement then ;) *HOPES!!!*
Dwarkarn Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 IF the official site is anything to go buy it looks like we are getting a Raptor for the show.... http://www.airshow.net.au/avalon2011/airshow/profiles.html
dougal_s Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 They used pictures of the Raptor for the last airshow's promotional material, but there wasn't one there...Whilst it would be great to see one, I'm not holding my breath for it.
dougal_s Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Well, I may have to eat humble pie, the list of aircraft attending on the official site includes the F-22 (and B-2). See http://www.airshow.net.au/avalon2011/airshow/flying-display.html
