Guest David C
While it was no doubt inconvenient for the pax aboard the delayed EK412 this morning , it proved a bonus for me as it flew over my place in daylight for a change . It landed at around 9.15 am . The aircraft was Emirates newest A380 , A6-EDE , it's 5th one delivered 2 months ago . 9V-SVO followed the EK A380 At last a daylight shot of A6-EDE Falcon 900 VH-LAL also tried to sneak in under my radar !! .. not on PP Dave C

Guest David C
Since when have they started using the 777 for Sydney flights? Darren ... SQ have been operating the 773 into SYD for a while now . The morning A380 remains the same as does the later 747-400 , however the other 2 flights are 773's . The 772 has been operating the morning SQ231 for a little while but reverts back to a 773 on 21/07, and the last 747-400 flight into SYD is sometime in October , at that point it will be a single A380 and up to 3 777's daily . The 772's have all been in the 9V-SV range .. Dave C
