Guest Chainsaw
I was lead to believe that this plane was in temp storage in AVV, well...she is flying QFA93...crossing the VIC-NSW border now.
Guest ads
Sunday night's (12/7) SYD-PER flight, QF583 was operated by B747 VH-OJH, instead of the usual A330-200. This flight took the MEL-PER route probably due to weather and was noted passing Sunbury(Vic) Sunday evening at 26,000ft. This a/c then worked to Melbourne on QF648 from Perth, arriving just before 6am on Monday morning (13/7). OJH was then used on QF93, replacing the usual A380. This flight took off pretty much on-time, after having what seemed to be a false-start on its first attempt at take off. VH-OJH returned to Melbourne from Los Angeles this morning on QF94. At Melbourne this aircraft was meet by VH-OQA, which is taking over on QF93. VH-OJH departed Melbourne for Avalon at 10:40am, arriving there 10mins later. It will be interesting to see if this a/c is there for routine maintenance or this rumoured temporary storage.
