Guest David C
Len , Hi in lovely Cornwall ... I have recently bought yet another airband scanner to add to my "few " that I already own . I shopped around and found that http://www.prestigecom.net.au/ were pretty good on price and service . They are based in WA however , but having said that they excelled in their on time mail order service and punctuality . There is a large electronics store in Australia known as Dick Smith Electronics too, they have stores in many towns across Australia and stock a wide range of gear , you can find them at http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/, they are very much a "Currys" style of shop , which I'm sure you are familiar with ... Have fun , and perhaps you could give us a heads up of what is happening these days at St Mawgan ... Dave C

Guest lenbud
Many thanks for all the info. I did have a look at Dick Smith, but must have missed the radio section. Bought a dvd player in Strathpine a couple of years ago in Dick Smith, useful for when my daughter sends a dvd. As for St. Mawgan, it is now a civilian airfield ICAO code EGHQ. Airlines using it are Ryanair, AirSouthwest, Bmi and Scillonian. Frequencies have also been changed. Rgds. Len.
