Guest David C
The latest version of Planeplotter has a OSM ( Open street map ) function . It brings a whole new dimension to viewing the screen . This is an example downloaded just a few minutes ago , and although not exactly a busy period , it does give a good idea as to what to expect ... Check it out , and what do you think ?? ... Uncle Chop Chop
Cool Shot. Where do you get your maps and charts from? I have a few but they sometimes don't work. I have a world map, a map of South Eastern Australia and a satalite map of Sydney.
Guest David C
Uncle Chop Chop .... I have downloaded a few charts from here http://www.mantma.co.uk/pp_support.html..... Just download into Planeplotter chart files , they will need calibrating before they will work though . The OSM function will open automatically for whatever charts you are displaying , and there is no need to calibrate them in the same way ... Hope you have as much fun with them as I do .. Guest Darren Masters
Good find Dave. Have not tried it. Must admit I have not used PP that much since moving to NZ. Will have to get the dust off it I think.
