Guest Darren Masters Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Here you go mate. Best pic I could get of her out of my crew window this afternoon in AKL. She was rolling at 2012 for SYD when I was leaving to go home. Sound was magic!
Guest Chainsaw Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Many many thanks Dizza. I just love DHE, very nice :)
Guest Darren Masters Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Wish I had pulled up when she departed. The black smoke in the sunset was magic!
Guest Chainsaw Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 DHE on approach to Sydney now (9:07pm). She leaves, she comes back, just like a beautiful lady LOL
Guest Darren Masters Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 One of these afternoons I will have to get a pic of her departing into the sunset. Now that would be nice
Guest Chainsaw Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 That would be nice Daz. Why not record her too *grin*
Guest Darren Masters Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 That would be nice Daz. Why not record her too *grin* You just reminded me to pick up my video camera next time I go to Aus
Pricey Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hey Guys, Is she in YSSY every night? I might try and get down there now that the evenings are lighter...
Guest Chainsaw Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Pricey, she comes in around 9pm ish and leaves 10:35pm approx. There used to be a daytime Sat flight, but not sure if she still does that. I'd have to check the logs from this weekend.
Guest Chainsaw Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I do remember they suspended the Sat flight for a while, but not sure if its back. Sometimes its not easy being a few hundred kms from YSSY. I used to live close enough to hear and see her.
Guest Darren Masters Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I do remember they suspended the Sat flight for a while, but not sure if its back. Sometimes its not easy being a few hundred kms from YSSY. I used to live close enough to hear and see her. At 2030 today (Saturday) she was still sitting on the pad in AKL so I would say Sat is out of the question.

Pricey Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Pricey, she comes in around 9pm ish and leaves 10:35pm approx. There used to be a daytime Sat flight, but not sure if she still does that. I'd have to check the logs from this weekend. Guest Darren Masters Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Well Pricey...very well captured mate I like the climb-out one. She is part of the furniture here in AKL. I hope for many more years.
Guest Chainsaw Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Good one mate. Always nice to finally get that elusive plane. Oh, the chase :)
Guest Chainsaw Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Neil part 'B' of the chase. DHE is off on maintenance during January 2010. A replacement Transmile 722 will be in. Get that camera ready.
Guest Darren Masters Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I'm looking forward to that one too Chainy!
